The senior
priest and the community of the church of the Great Martyr St. George the Victory-Bearer of the
Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kharkov Eparchy construct a new Church in the memory of the warriors
fallen at the Afghan war when fulfilling their international obligations. The Metropolitan of Kharkov
and Bogoduhovsk Nikodim sanctified the site for construction of the church and laid the first stone.
